The field of design: new cooperations give birth to new products
The presence of innovative machines for agricultural and gardening uses born thanks to the cooperation of Xform with the main producers keeps on and gets stronger at EIMA.
EIMA ITERNATIONAL' 2006, as to confirm the last edition’s preamble, states the market success of many of the important new issues of 2005.
The proposals, sometimes provocative, shown last year have been well accepted by the public who has appreciated the formal innovation used as a communication media both of the personality and of the technical development of the products.

Il design scende in campo: nuove collaborazioni generano nuovi prodotti
Prosegue e si rafforza la presenza di innovativi macchinari agricoli e per giardinaggio nati dalla colaborazione di Xform con le case produttrici protagoniste di EIMA.
Ad 'EIMA INTERNATIONAL' 2006, quasi a confermare le premesse dell’edizione scorsa, si registra il successo di mercato di molte delle importanti novità nate nel 2005.
Le proposte, che a volte riuscivano provocatorie, avanzate lo scorso anno sono state comprese dal pubblico che ha apprezzato la innovazione stilistica quale mezzo di comunicazione sia della personalità che dello sviluppo tecnico dei prodotti.

ANNOVI REVERBERI: the range of high pressure cleaners of the world famous italian manufacturer has been widened by a new model which continues on the innovative direction taken with the presentation of the new 'Series 5' at Practical World 2006 in March.

Ezetil: introduces the new 40lt electric cooler (both 12V standard and 12/230V with automatic wire rollers) and standard cooler; displays the 12V coolbag with a new fan protection;
LaPlaya: the complete range of gas stoves and lamps have been renewed: a new line of products for gas cartridge use and a new 2 burners stove; introduces the completely new chemical toilet in 3 different tank capacity;

Guadalajara, Mexico, 29th-31st March - 2006 CIE
The Tecnologico de Monterrey University, organized in the Guadalajara Campus, Mexico, the 2006 International Entrepreneurship Congress (CIE), an event that rewards new entrepreneurs each year. Mr. Giorgio Aldini has been invited to hold a workshop about the Industrial Design in the product development process entitled “Creative engineers or rigorous designers”. At this workshops, attended by 80 graduated students and professionals divided into two sections, Mr. Aldini presents, through the illustration of real cases, the method and the technologies that Xform usually uses to develop innovative products for its customers in different sectors.
L’università Tecnologico de Monterrey ha organizzato nel suo campus di Guadalajara l’edizione 2006 del Congreso Internacional de Emprendedores (CIE). Alla manifestazione che premia annualmente le giovani imprese più innovative Giorgio Aldini di Xform è stato invitato a tenere un workshop sul ruolo dell’industrial design nel processo di sviluppo del prodotto, dal titolo: “Creative engineers or rigorous designers”. Alla presenza di 80 studenti divisi in due sessioni è stato presentato tramite l’illustrazione di casi reali il metodo di lavoro e le tecnologie con cui Xform sviluppa quotidianamente i progetti per i propri clienti.

Koeln, March 6th - PRACTICAL WORLD - INTERNATIONALE EISENWARENMESSE
AnnoviReverberi (very important high pressure cleaner producer) presents the new 5 Series with AR Blue Clean brand. The whole range includes three models with different engines and accessories equipment. Xform has been entrusted with the task of developing the product from concept design, through engineering, up to the supplier support for the mold production.
The cooperation between Xform and AR in the research, allowed to integrate in the body, in a very innovative way, some functions like hose reel and a double tank for detergent, increasing considerably the user-friendliness and reducing the assembly and transport costs thanks to the smaller packaging size too.

La gamma comprende tre modelli che differiscono per motorizzazione e dotazione di accessori. A Xform è stato affidato il compito dello sviluppo del prodotto dal concetto iniziale passando per l’ingegnerizzazione fino alla gestione dei fornitori per la realizzazone delle attrezzature per la produzione
La ricerca congiunta tra Xform e AR ha permesso di integrare in modo innovativo nella struttura della macchina alcune funzioni come l’avvolgitubo e un doppio contenitore per il detergente che aumentano in modo significativo la facilità di utilizzo, riducendo i costi di assemblaggio e le dimensioni di imballo a vantaggio dei costi di trasporto.

This project started from the careful analysis of the use conditions in the different professional sectors. This high pressure cleaner has been totally realized with XFORM cooperation and it offers a basic unit from which you can obtain a trolley version and a wall fixed one, satisfying in this way the different needs of sectors like building, car washing, zootechnics, food industries. The Xform contribution started from the product ergonomic functions analysis and the translation of this into an idea of product, up to the coordination of the supplier for the mold production, passing through the engineering phase and the technical details definition.
Comet spa, produttore di idropulitrici per il settore professionale presenta la nuova serie K.
Il progetto nasce da un attento studio delle condizioni di utilizzo dell’idropulitrice in diversi settori professionali. Realizzata interamente in collaborazione con Xform, la serie K propone un modulo base da cui vengono derivate una versione a carrello ed una per il fissaggio a parete coprendo così le esigenze di settori come l’edilizia, i lavaggi auto, la zootecnia, e l’industria alimentare che presentano caratteristiche d’uso molto diverse tra loro. Il contributo di Xform partendo dall’analisi delle funzioni ergonomiche del prodotto e dalla loro traduzione in un’idea di prodotto è arrivato al coordinamento dei fornitori delle attrezzature per la produzione, passando per la fase di ingegnerizzazione e definizione dei dettagli tecnici.

Exit is an armored door with an integrated rechargeable battery led system that lights up on the blackout moments showing the exit and offering illumination around the door. The XForm contribution to this project includes both the design activity and the electronic part project.

Exit è una porta blindata che incorpora un sistema a led con batteria ricaricabile che si accende durante i momenti di blackout segnalando l’uscita e offrendo illuminazione nella zonaattorno alla porta. Il contributo di Xform a questo progetto prevede oltre all’attività di design anche la progettazione della parte elettronica.
